Tug of War

Five autonomous stained glass panels were commissioned in 1982 for MPL Communications, together with the painting, Tug of War. These glass compositions stem from Brian Clarke's painting, which featured on the cover of Paul McCartney’s album, Tug of War, and also appeared in the music video for McCartney's single Take It Away. These works translate and transform the painting's effects into glass.
